I have a '95YJ and I recently discovered cracks in the driver's seat riser... Again. I had a couple cracks welded about 5 years ago. So evidently welding alone won't do it. Anyone have any ideas for a permanent fix? I'm thinking of replacing it and then working on re-inforcing it before it cracks. Thanks!

i don't have the stock risers anymore, but i think they crack once the rivets (if i remember correctly) get loose a bit so the stamped parts start "working" more, might want to look into that.

I just put this riser in.

But my seat is a little taller than stock. and I still sit lower than stock.  About 1/2 inch.
