Bought it for $2500.

Since then I have added...

Dana Super 35 Kit for the rear and 4.88 gears  (30 Spline Chromoly Axles)
4.88 gears for the front.  (Still stock axles and no locker yet)
3.5" Black Diamond Lift
Slip Yoke Eliminator and new rear drive shaft
Balanced front drive shart.
All new U-Joints.
Tuffy Center Console

Things I still need to take care.

Ditch the stupid chain.
Get a winch
Ditch the stock shackles.
Front axles and locker.
Grind off the silly nerf bars.  Last owner welded them on.

Looks really good.  I'm running that same suspension (Warn's version way back when, not Superlift's)  It's very flexy and comfortable.

It looks like it's alot of fun!

Thanks for sharing the pic.

Man, I knew I should have taken that chain off the Jeep before I took those pics...

It was on it when I got it and I just left it there while I was getting the drivetrain work done.  :)

I promise that it is long gone now.

I am working on a way to explain to the wife that I need the winch though.  Got any good ideas?

The cost of a tow truck to come get you will cost WAY more, and that's IF they can get back there, if they can't you have to get a payload helicopter to air lift you out!!
and that will buy you another jeep! at least!
So the cost of a winch is a very small investment. compared to not having one.
It didn't work on my wife, but she knows better since she has gone with me and knows what I do.
