Thanks. :)

Don't have a trailer yet (looking for the right deal), but that's my plan.  Commander or the F-150.  I think it may be situational.  The Commander has about a 1000Lb greater tow rating than my F-150, but it's shorter wheelbase.  The Commander is all wheel drive, which may help in various situations.   I'm scared to see what trailering with my XK will do to my already horrible fuel economy..hehe.  May depend on if the Wife comes with me.  If I go off wheeling without her, and leave her the truck, she'd be double-pissed.  She loves the XK.

Want to upgrade the F-150 to a Dodge 3/4 ton, which would become my DD and my tow vehicle.  C'mon NASDAQ!

From cooper stt 33's to baja mtz 35's looks like these will work. Will try them on a fairly difficult trail tomorow

So how do you like that lift? I've been eyeing it up myself.

it's great if ya dont wanna upgrade to a larger tire. i didnt have the $$ for 32s. for $300 the lift comes with everything-springs and shocks-real great off road, im real satisfied.

How can I reech theese kids?

« Reply #87 on: March 07, 2009, 11:31:43 AM »

This was right after I got it. Don't ask where the winch went...  whistle

After the lift and 33's

Added some TJ flares down the road, installed an AAL since my old rear leafs were sagging, and these wheels

Now with 35's, Nth * zig Zag bar, cut my front flares, and other stuff. Took this pic yesterday

nic build.. looks like you went to tj flares in the back and kept the yj ones up front... definitely different and i like the look with it trimmed so it is flatfenderish

The only reason I haven't done TJ flares up front is because noones given them to me yet  confused  pirate I got the rears for free, and installed them because my 33's were hitting the bottom lip on the rear of my tub with the stock YJ flares which made my springs bind. I'm supposed to be getting a set of F&R Rubi flares from a friend of mine, I need to contact with him about those... But for the time being- trimming the stock flares at the molding line made a BIG difference in the looks department and made my 35's look a little more proportionate  smokes
