A friend of mine made me a new front bumper for the Jeep. What do ya think?

Here's a shot with the lights on

Also got to test it all out by getting pulled out.  Seem to work pretty well

My new desktop picture for now heh

I like how it looks with the mud on better...   biggrin  Nice bumper!  I am actually thinking about one much similar to that one, and since my YJ is very much like yours (same color and all), you helped me make up my mind that a short bumper WILL look good!

I am planning getting the Shrockworks Rock Hammer ; which one did you get?

What I like about the Shrockworks one is that (1) it looks strong as they come, (2) it comes with the light tabs drilled out (I already got the lights on my Jeep), (3) the fairlead roller mount is detachable (I dont have a winch yet, so this is good for me in the meantime!), and (4) I will not need a winch mount once I do get the winch...  By the way, I plan on X-Lining it.

For the rear I already ordered a JCR Offroad Stage 2 Rear Bumper (Stone Lined).  It also seems like a nice option for me; I did not want to spend all the dough on a tire carrier when I dont really plan to go over 33" tires (which I can carry in the stock carrier), but I did want the 2" receiver and the D-Ring tabs...  The only thing is that I ordered it on May 2, and I expect to receive it (according to the latest update from JCR Offroad) on June 27...  So as you can imagine, this waiting is KILLING ME!

After that I think I'll go for the axle upgrades (lockers and gear change to 4.88 included), then the winch, then the snorkel, and by then I am sure I will have bronken something else and will need to replace something I have not planned on!

My front bumper came for here http://www.alterdego.net/

He's a friend in my local Jeep group.  My rear bumper will most likely be from JCR also.  I'm lookin at the stage 3 tire carrier.  I haven't decided on rock sliders yet.  After that I plan to put a Dana 44 or 8.8 in the rear and call it good.  Of course I want to add a few more things such as armer.  My Warn Dana 30 diff guard came in today clap  Max tire size I want to run is 35s, I'm not heavy on the throttle, I try to drive as smart as I can when off road.  I guess you can say I really baby my jeep when I wheel, but I still go everywhere my friends go, just use less throttle.  Everything you said you want to do to yours sounds like what all I want to do beers

No thats not where I got stuck, it was a couple feet down from where that picture was taken, if you didn't have 35s or bigger you would bottom out on your diffs.  Thats what I did....I don't like mud heh

that's when mud sucks.. because the people with the monster tires rut the shit out of them.. where if everyone had the same tire size it would come down to skill more...

Well, just to update, the rear bumper went in (It is a thing of beauty!), along with the D-Ring shackles.  Also the ARB lockers, 4.88 gears and alloy axles went in.  Front bumper (X-lined or Rhino lined, whichever one is cheaper, together with the power steering skid) is next, followed by the winch and then the snorkel.  I eventually need to save up for the BFG MT KM2's in 33.
