'92 2.5L Jeep YJ

I'm looking at buying a Jeep I came across that may be a good deal. I know little about the 2.5L besides it gets almost as bad mileage as the 4.0L jeep engine.
I'm wondering if some people could give me a opinion or heads up here...
Engine has 200's K (130 Miles). Appears well taken care of, new timing belt and starter.
I'm told the heads are good in that engine as they are cast, so no worries bout blowing gaskets right?
I heard the timing chain get alotta slack over time, so it being replaced is good...
Anything else I gotta worry about with a 2.5L with 130's miles?
Anybody know how many miles one of these 2.5L's can get before they go to junk?
Im wondering how much life is left in her.
Also the tranny. any idea how good the manual is in a stock YJ 4banger?
All comments are appreciated. If I got this jeep it would be for about 3000.

Look on the "gas mileage thread" on here and you'll see the 2.5 typically gets better mileage than the 4.0. The mileage gets worse once you get out of the right fear ratio (ie. too large of tires on stock gearing).
It's an AMC six based engine, it'll live forever and a day if you keep to the maintenance schedule!
I can't confirm the timing chain stretch thing, but I was told by an engine builder that if you replace the chain you should replace the sprockets, and if you replace those you should do the whole cam and lifter set. If anything, a nice double roller chain for a 4.0 will work, be stronger, and run smoother.
In any case, it should still have a lot of life!

Even stock, don't plan on doing more than 65-70 mph on the highway.

I would check for notchy shifting, it would most likely be bad synchronizers. If it shifts okay, change the fluid as soon as possible with a quality GL4 like Redline's MT90, it's a full synthetic that shifts well in even the coldest of weather. Specially formulated to be easy on the synchros.
