Slip-Yoke Question

I'm installing the Pro Comp 4" lift this weekend on my YJ.  (Whoo Hooo)...

I heard I may need a slip-yoke eliminator.  Is this true?  ProComp doesn't mention it and it comes with a transfer case drop and axle shims.  I'm just wondering what other's experiences have been.

The TC drop will work, but the SYE and CV rear driveshaft is the best method to address the rear driveline angle.

Just keep in mind that the rear axle's angle will need to be adjusted...

I don't know about Pro Comp springs, but some, like my Rough Country springs, come with shims already on the leaf packs to adjust the pinion angle. I believe the ones on my leafs are like 8*? Worked fine with a TC drop, and now even with my SYE (Hack N Tap style), it's still pretty darn good

i have the rubicon express 4" lift kit on my 95yj. this uses the pro comp springs so i am virtually running the same exact lift on my 95 yj running 33x12.50's. been running it for the past 2+ years with the tc drop and shims with no noticiceable vibes. never had to replace a u joint (knock on wood). so you should be just fine with what is included with the kit.
