A little fuzzy, but my favorite picture of the day.  Spent the day on some private land where there are a number of log obstacles set up.  Hit the gas and hope you don't go over backwards Wink

Great pic!  Can the Jeep actually make it over that type of obstacle?

wonder what sort of mods he's got on the engine to run in that position safely (assuming he had oil pressure all the time). pretty cool, seems that he also had independent braking left/right or at least e-brake left/right to steer it in that position.

Was that a diesel engine?  It put out a lot of smoke.

Sometimes, depends on how far forward it lands.  In this case the rear tires wound up off the ground and the frame was sitting on the log.  Could only back off of it. After several tried I wound up on the right side of it stuck between the log and a tree - had to winch forward to get out.

Cool!  Looks it must also help a lot to have a flat belly Jeep like yours.

Yup, it's nice having nothing hanging below the frame.

It was Wink   It was pulling pretty good until the end of the day when I was trying to extract a 4-runner that had it's front diff against a big rock.  The magic smoke came out of the motor, so it's not working very well now.
