here's my YJ SOA 1 TON with 1/2 ton Dodge springs up front, and 39.5" tires it does well

I was flexing my YJ ego by climbing on 2 TJ's. But the driveway does slant to the south about 3 inches.

Actually, people were known to swap out the rear coils for leafs on TJ's. They worked rather well too.

Fiberglass isn't a good choice when rock crawling though.
