Well I sold my 97 this past spring to buy my LJ. Well this past weekend i bought another 4-banger. So its back to modding the little engine that could. Its an all stock 97 SE with bare bones package, no AC, no tilt steering, no center console, but has power steering and the nicer seats. Other than that its factory magenta and has 181K. Have to fix some rear tub corner damage and cover it up with the Gen Right shorty's that came with it but its cool and definately different. Once i get it inspected the real fun can begin.

It's always strange to see old YJ wheels on a TJ. Those are Mopar 5-Holes. Used to love the look of those wheels. They're 8" wide so they're good for up to 12.5's. The color isn't the greatest BUT no one will steal it!

looks like it's in really good shape, good find x3 on the pepto-bismol color but that's less important and more on a personal preference - a bit strange to see it on a Jeep though, probably was a chick ride so that's kinda cute i guess - it's also unique, surely one of a kind and easy to spot and probably like Jeffy said no-one would steal it

Yeah it was his daughters and she wouldnt drive it with the tub damage.
So far what i've done is add factory fogs and tow hooks i had in the shed along with a 4.0TB. Picked up a kilby gas tank skid and Still need an upstream 02 sensor
Future mods that i have and need to install Genrite shorty's Kilby tank skid warn steering box skid warn dana 30 diff guard Rubicon suspension (because the one on there is beat) TJ rear dana 44 and driveshaft Advanced Adapters t-case arm bracket 32X11.50's on soft 8's bikini top windjammer and duster
Need to get/decide rocker guards Tube fenders Some kind of bumper or at least a front reciever rear reciever need to decide on either a BL or the budget boost i already have need to decide if i am going to keep the factory slip yolk or add the sye i already have need to decide wheather or not i am going to finish piecing together the 4-inch lift i have or just stay with the budget boost and go belly up with the sye and adjustable rear upper arms that i already have.

I'd just keep the color. You don't see too many that color and they're easy to spot in a parking lot. Looks like it's a solid paint job too. No signs of peeling or worn clear coat.

I'd keep the color also. Just put some black on it (say, new fenders, line-X'ed front and rear bumpers, crusher corners, and roker guards) and call it good...

Yeah already have some gen-rite shorties for it that are going on this weekend. Been eyeing up some rocker guargs and tube fenders. Have to sell some stuff first, tnen i can start putting more into this. Been raining for the last 4 days but looks like it may be done so i can get to work on it.
