Here's a trick you might consider.  With the CB antenna tuck the tip under the spreader bar then over the top.  It should hold itself out of the way. That way your passenger doesn't have to worry about bending it.

i just tuck it in the door handle. hahahah it was awesome i blew my cat up and and my seals are bad on my front axle.

P.S. i repped our forum. they asked wat club and i put this down. me and my buddy also put for our description cards 2.5 Liter V8's because we drive the crap out of ours. idk about you all but i can beat on it and not have worry. hahaha iron dukes rock!!

the 2.5l in the yjs aren't iron dukes they are AMC motors not GM... but they do a good job of keeping on going (be it slow) even with abuse and misuse.

iron duke was in the '80-'83 CJs... only had 83hp..so you / your source wasn't entirely wrong.. just on the wrong dates.
