I am getting what sounds like octain ping in my jeep when I shift gears or when I am going along and press down on the gas. It is not very loud or last all that long. I have no idea how long it has been doing this. I just got the exhaust fixed so I can hear it now. I know that the timing is set so I am wondering what it is and what to do to fix it. I have  K&N intake with 4.0 TB and spacer. The jeep runs really well and even better since the exhaust was fixed. I have only had the jeep about 5 months and who ever had it before me did not take real good care of it. When I changed the TB the idel motor was really clogged with oil. So was the intake mainfold. I have put a few cans of Seafoam in the gas tank and intake. I have new plugs, wires, cap and rotor button. I am thinking maybe timing chain or distribter? Looking for any help.
