Looks like an older YJ although it's hard to tell since even after the US changed to MPFI in '91, exports were still going out with the '90 specs. From the looks of it he's got a TJ grill with the YJ hood and fenders. You can tell since the hood is still square at the opening and doesn't sit quite right on the grill. It's subtle though.
There were only a two coil conversions that I can remember that ever used the stock leaf hangers/short arms. One company only produced something like 6 kits before closing shop. The other is Pro-Comp Explorer. I think that's what on this Jeep.
If you didn't know Jeeps, you might just think it's a TJ though.

hi folks, my jeep is a 89 I, it's running a 2.5 tbi motor, 4.56 gears, lockers front and rear, 4:1 tranny, the 5 link set up uses some procomp parts and allot of other fabricated parts, YJ's weren't sold over her till 92 so parts are harder to find, I damaged the grill and hood off roading and found a TJ grill much easier to find than the original, I read a couple of articles on how to swap it and it was quite easy to do, the suspension has been a pain, but now all the little problems have been fixed its great on and off the road, travel is not great, but better than a stock TJ, but the road manners are very good,

i know it looks it, but its not, its a conversion from the piston type bushes at the top to a bolt through like the bottom mounting,
