howdy
« on: September 07, 2014, 12:14:40 AM »
Just stopping in to say hi. It's been awhile because I've been in mourning. I finally moved to land, but I really needed a full size 4x4... so I traded the Rubi for a Tundra. Had to be able to tow a 32ft trailer we lived in while I set our house back up.

There's some fire roads and a few trails near by. I'm just about 20 miles south from where I used to live. And, actually, Red Mountain is just about 1 mile away from me - but I think you have to enter from the opposite side. I used to fart around back there when I got my YJ years ago. None of them are extreme, but fun to just go fart around on - and very scenic.

Here's a better view of Red Mountain from the side of my house - The fire lookout is at the right peak

The mountains in the distance to the left are the San Jacinto Mountains - Idyllwild CA are the peaks
