the jk is pretty flat underneath. the yj had the leafs to ramp up to the low belly pan.. its just unfortunity that the gas tank is the lowest thing under most of the jk and the skid does dent... the bottom of the gas tank is probably halfway up the axle tube maybe just above it...The towing receiver works as a good skid top protect the rear bumper from rock ledges.

Sounds like the JK Rubicon is actually pretty high in the belly.

well when i checked the dealer website last Monday the yj was listed as sold. when i checked the week before it was down to $4400 and he removed the winch and put on some stoker wheels and street tires. Finally got the locker sorted out on the jk and back on the road also.

Had a flash from the past today when browsing craigslist to find my old YJ. looks like it jumped the boarder to Wisconsin and made it to 170000 miles although i thought it was deep in the 16xK territory when I sold it so must have sat a lot. sad to see it is still on stock sized tires and probably hasn't been off-road since 2012.  :'(   :redx:

So if anyone wants a high flow Throttle-body for a TBI 2.5l you know where to find it.  :wall:

Kinda cool to know it's still on the road though.

Definitely glad to see it is still running :driving:. Especially considering it was on its way to the junkyard when I got it. I looked back through my records and it had 163K on it when I sold it so it likely hasn't seen to much time in salt. I also realized the upper doors in the pictures are actually the uppers for the soft-top that don't really fit with the hard top (radius of the upper rear corner is wrong). Makes the sting of the overpriced soft uppers I got for it that got slashed come to mind again. Hopefully they can find a good buyer for it that keeps it alive and hopefully on the trials  :beers:
