I noticed one of my spring bushings that hold the shackle to the mount is cracked. Not on the spring end of the shackle but the top. Anyway, what do you like the rubber ones or the aftermarket stuff such as Energy Suspension?

Just changed all mine to the Energy Suspension stuff. Good so far.

Rubber ones flex better. I've always used Poly though.

I'll prolly call Deaver tomorrow and see what they have on hand. I know they sell stuff individual VS. buying a whole set.
I have noticed a squeek type noise coming from that corner. I grease the snot out of those things. Not sure if that is the reason or not.

You'll usually get a knock if the bushing needs to be replaced.

HHmmm. Don't recall a knock. Might be those Baja Bushings. They have nylon bushings and you can't lube them unless you take everything apart.
I can see the tear in the shoulder of the bushing, so I know it's shot. In theory I could leave it for a while, but I don't like to do that.

The ones Deaver sells are urethane. http://www.deaverspring.com/products/bushings.html
It's nice they have them in bulk so you don't need to buy the whole set if you don't need to. Should be here on Monday.
