It's amazing how versatile the JK platform has turned out to be.  It may actually be the most customizable Jeep ever.

Well, yes, if you take the body and put it on a Power Wagon frame, it can be considered versatile.  :lol:

who's buying these things? - they're way overpriced (compared to similar vehicles i mean, not what it costs to make them).

It was built for someone at Jeep.

I didn't realize it was on another frame.  In any case, the extra length of the JK makes it possible to do things with it that would take a lot of work (frame and body stretch) to do with  earlier Jeeps.

I don't think you'd want to use a JK as a 5th wheel puller which was the reason for going with a new frame and 3/4 or 1T running gear.

The Ram can tow 22,700 lb. while a J8 is 3,500 lb.
