it's going to bend, 2 of the 3 leverage (mounting) points are in the wrong plane, imo it is unsafe.

It will break. There is a whole thread on jeep forum about this. A guy has a broke set that he even welded to the knuckle. I think what happend is the Steel work hardened it's self over repeated flexing. Kinda like a piece of bailing wire. If you bend it back and forth to many times it eventually breaks.

Even if it was built correctly, there is no reason to do that on a YJ. Flipping the tierod to the tops of the knuckles gives you plenty of space without all the extra junk.

that's probably the end result like you say, the design is stupid, can't believe they put this out for sale since it's such a safety issue - i hope whoever breaks one is on the trail at low speed and not on the street.
