Made a deal on a WJ this afternoon...really clean, newer transmission, 1997, 200k on the clock...nice.

1997 was still zj or was it a double model year? we sold our 1997 zj back when I got my new jeep. it had 185K on it with the only major repair being a valve spring at 100k. glad to hear you replaced the xj with a jeep and not a Subaru.

yes...still dreaming of the Commander we had...ZJ...may keep this one and slightly mod if it get's us to this time next year.

Subarus were simply too much...the boy is happier with the Jeep...V8...new transmission...Laredo package, so loaded with all the goodies. Just some minor surface rust to repair by the driver's door. Tail gate was already repaired by the previous owner. I just need to paint again to match the original color.
