Looks like I need at least one injector in my 97 2.5. I want the boshe 4 hole injectors but is there a smarter option for this setup. I didn't really want to change the regulator. But would if it was worth it. What is the consensus?

Have you done any engine mods? If not then your answer is no. Just get a 24# BOSCH Injector with a EV-1 connector.

Just a 40 TB and a high flow air filter, otherwise stock. I found some "upgraded" injectors on eBay for 120.00 supposed to atomize better than stock?

Will these work?

Priced right and he has them in the same jeep I have.

According to him they do, from what i recall from his install thread they had the correct flow - for that price might as well try, as long as they spray right (not squirting) they should work. not to mention he's including the adapters - to answer your other question about the fpr for TJ is not that easy as in the YJ, so imo injectors only unless you want to go into extensive mods.

Ya on the tj it is on top of the tank, my tank has been off so much that I almost have it down to a science.
Good news is today I got the high end low power fixed. Turns out my new cap had some wicked corrosion on the coil plug. It was new two years ago and the jeep sat for 2 years, guess I didn't get any dielectric Grease in it. Cleaned it all up and put it back together.

Somewhere on here I have a thread where I swapped in a set of injectors from a 2.0L Eagle Talon/Dodge Neon. They have been working perfectly ever since.

I went with 24# (mustang if I recall) injectors, using the original regulator, with no issues.

Mustang injectors won't work in a TJ.
