For some reason I'm getting the CEL. Checked it and it's 12, 33, 27, 27, 55. I don't think I've ever seen them out of numerical order and appear twice. 27 is the code for fuel injectors not responding properly to the control signal

Could they be showing in the sequence they happened.

That doesn't make sense since 33 will always come up. The CEL lights up later meaning the 27 code is triggered. And why does 27 come up twice?

Maybe a scanner would reveal which two injectors are not responding?

I don't think it's that smart. The FSM says 27 refers to a fault in banks 3 and/or 4 or 5 and/or 6. I spend the day checking my ignition system and gaping plugs. I probably should try resetting the PCM. I plan on spraying contact cleaner on the plugs. It only seems to come on when I'm on the highway and it's intermittent.

I read in the instructions of the new scanner that the codes appear in order of importance, so the first code should be the most critical to the system (if what I read is correct, anyway!).

Okay, that makes sense. Still wondering why it comes up twice.

could it be last or active code related (as in the others went away but still stored, this was the last/more recent code - I cannot remember since last time i pulled a code if that's the case or not).
