I don't know... For over $400K, I think I can find better rigs out there that do more! Not to mention, my little 4banger can do most of what they showed that 6X6 doing (yeah, sure, you have to get out of the Jeep to inflate and deflate the tires, but for the $400K I am saving, I have no issues!). Besides, 9,000Lbs is a bit of a land anchor in mud! I just don't think it is worth it for anything other than military or industrial use... And even there, I would go with a Unimog instead.

That's gross weight. If you think that's heavy, the lightest current day Unimog weighs in around 16,500 lbs. It also only has 4 drive wheels and only has around 120hp. (600lbft). I think the 6x6 would be better for mud. More grip and more hp to spin those tires.
Keep in mind these were originally a special order for some UAE hubbub. They decided to sell them once they say others wanted them. Sales numbers are going to be pretty low but they planed that and priced accordingly. I think a 4x4 version would have looked better but UAE like crazy stuff that's over the top. Also keep in mind that this has a full AMG warranty.
For some perspective, the Icon 4x4 Dodge double cab would have been in the same price range.

Well, can't say I agree with those prices either... I mean, their CJ3 was almost $100K...

The axles alone on the CJ3 are probably $14K.

Oh, I know WHY it costs that much; I just would not pay it...

it's awesome, but there are a few other things lined up for $400k so this will have to wait [forever]
