Now that I have some extra cash, and my Jeep is paid for (finally!!), I'm looking into mods.

I'm not up on my fancy new cars ( I used to wrench on a 77 Trans Am), but what's a resistor supposed to do?
-
Basically all it is, is a resistor in a box that fools the computer to think it has colder air coming in than it really does.
-
Thus tricking the computer into dumoing more fuel... which does nothing good unless combined with more air, so....
-
So unless you have a bigger throttle body, a spacer, and a gnarly air box, you're just running rich then?
-
I like how they sell a $.6 resistor for $10.
Is it worth it no. Does it work maybe. There are better ways to do this. And you're right, unless you do some other mods, you will just be running rich.
