Looks like it marketed as a competition winch for people who have no intention to ever compete.   It weighs in at 55 lbs (but then a Warn VR 10K is only 9 lbs. more. Rc is 1 lbs. less.)  I like the idea of a smaller winch since you can usually fit more synthetic rope into a given spool then you can wire rope...  but they are only giving you 50 ft. of line.  The shortest non-comp. winch uses 80 ft. and the longer rope is 100 ft..   Anything further would require more rope and possibly an additional pull since you can only pull in 50 ft at a time.  Lets not forget these are made in China with all of the other off-brand winches.

another item that comes with a free rack

new promo guidelines i guess.

judging by the size of the hook it's really tiny although the way is pictured you'd think it's a lot bigger (by comparing with the person holding it).

I actually like the fact that is smaller or a lot smaller if I go by the hook (if it can take the abuse of course but that might be a long shot).

The hook is really big.  It's not Warn ATV winch size.  I think they were able to shave off 4-6" from the drum.  That's the only part that's 'smaller'.
