Where can I buy the special tool to remove safety torx screws on the AIS port on the throttle body? Is this something an auto store should have or do I need to try and order it somewhere, thanks for any help.

I believe Sears might have some but I'm not sure if they're Craftsman Brand. I've seen a set in Radio Shack also.
Or you can try snapping off the center stud and using a regular set. I have not tried this since I ended up buying the propper tool.

advance auto carries them with the rest of their tools in the tool section.... i think their are 6 in the set but i could be wrong. ampro brand.

auto zone too, I broke one within an hour an took them back. I wish I could find a set of stainless ones.

harbor freight possibly?
or drop a dime with snap-on.... just buy the size you NEED so you won't be wasting your money on other sizes that will otherwise colelct dust and take up space in your toolbox....

The torx on the TB have blue locktite on them. Usually it's all dried and doesn't take much work to remove. I would not use a ratchet since it's very easy to apply too much force and either screw up the head or snap it off completely.
I'd maybe put each tork under a candle or lighter for a few seconds then remove. It won't take much heat.

blow torches are so much more fun though
