Hey on my YJ I am thinking of going with an electric fan and taking my old compressor off until I get all the parts for my new ac.  How does that work with the serpentine belt?  Where do I get one that will fit the new setup.

An electric fan does not change the length of the belts since the pulley is on the waterpump and not on the fan.  As for the A/C, I'd just leave it there if you're going to replace the compressor anyway.
