I need a good FREE program that will convert my CDs to MP3's I keep Downloading them but they are a 1-2 song use and then you have to pay for them, Dose any one know of a free one? I don't think they are worth $30+.

I use iTunes.  It should be able to import them as mp3's of AAC.  There are others but I've also got an iPod.

It should. If not you can change the format in the preference (I think that's where. I don't have my Itunes program on this pute.) section. Otherwise, try using winamp.

It will convery CD.  the nice thing is that you can set it to look for all the music on your computer and consolidate it all to one folder.  You can also drag and drop songs and if you set it to consolidate the misuc it will put it in the right folder then you throw out the original.

iTunes will convert the cd tracks to AAC by default.  You can change the default to MP3.  Then they will play on most mp3 players.

What you want is a ripper. Yamp is a freeware version I have used before. It is great.

If you use windows for an OS, why not use your included windows media player?  It will rip em to whatever format you want and can also look up the disk info from the net so you dont type in song or artist names...cost 0$
