I tried to take a short cut in upgrading my 2002 SE and bought some take offs from a jeep unlimited. These are 15X8 with the standard 30X9.50. Has anyone else put larger tires on this set up? I think that even 31X10.50 are going to rub. If someone else could tell me there experience I sure would be greatful!!!! Sorry if this question has been answered a thousand times but I did search before I posted this.

Largest on the wheels themselves? Well you can put a 37x12.5R15 on those wheels.

Im not to sure what your asking, are you asking what can you fit on the rim... or what size will fit on that rim and your rig? if its the first.... jeffy already answered you, if its the 2nd then we need the info on your rig, List of mods... lift, BL, cut wheel wells?

I read it again and I think he's got a stock Jeep. If that's the case then 31's are the limit with minor rubbing.

I have 30s with stock suspension atm
Had to replace the sway bars because the tires rubbed them (when I had the steering wheel turned all the way one way) and ended up breaking them over time.. I replaced them with some longer ones and it solved the problem though and hopefully they'll work with a 2" lift too.

Ya'll assumed correctly. I was asking what would fit under my stock TJ.
I'm sorry I was not very clear on the details.

really? ho come some folks seem to have problems with 30's and even 235's and others can run 31's with no problems?

depends how wore out your stock syspension is

Not necessarily, most rubbing is from contact with the control arms or swaybar and not the fenders.
