Whats up? So i was in yosmite national park in california the other weekend. I saw a jeep wranger stretch limo. It was the craziest thing i have seen in awhile. I was just wondering if anyone has seen anything like this before. crazy shit

AEV used to make two stretched Wranglers. One was 114" while the other was 109" I think. May have been 106". In any case they stopped making them after the Unlimited came out. The 106 was a really nice length. No increase in rear departure angle but a lot more room inside and a nice wheelbase.
There was another company that made the 4door. Theirs was really long and looked kinda ugly even lifted. It was a bit long with the doors. Not to mention it used 4 front doors.

Chopping off the roof of any vehicle that isn't designed to be a convertable will case a lot of body twist. Not to mention, the Burb is a lot wider and longer. It's not very special either. Who wants to drive around in Aspine in a chop top burb? They have a few Limo SJ Grand Wagoneers up that way too...

AEV used to stretch YJ's when they first started out. I've love to stretch mine to 106". I think it would make the perfect wheelbase. They used to chop the frame just behind the rear seat and sleeve the frame on the inside so you can't even tell work was done. I wish they still did YJ's. A stretched YJ would be cool.
I believe AEV is the only company that upgrades anything like axles and such. Everyone else just stretches them stock. A 4dr has to be around 114-116" That would be a bit long on a trail like the Rubicon. I should scan all my pictures from my trip. I've got a bunch of video too.

An employee here had an AEV stretch with D60's front and rear and an Atlas... among anything else they throw at it. It was prestine... I know he sold it for way over 30K...
We got our call that our 2007 Jeep is at the dealership. It's only the 2dr model and will miss SEMA this year. I'm looking forward to seeing it.
