Title: Anyone else have troubles with Quadratec?
Post by: dexetr30 on November 21, 2006, 05:31:16 PM
I've ordered 3 items from them so far and two out of three times I have recieved the wrong items. Am I the only one with this problem?

I've never had any problems with them.  Although I always phone-in and I order things that they have in-stock.

Have they made any effort to correct your order?  Who's dime is it on?

It's ok to complain about a store but lets here a little more about the orders.

yeah, I keep writing them telling them that they should use Tera Patrick as the Jeep babe, but the Qtec people don't listen.

1. I ordered a body lift and they sent the correct lift. Not a problem.
2. I ordered yj fender flares that were desribed to me as being a direct bolt on for my yj. They send me tj flares. The problem was corrected and they paid for it.
3. I ordered black powder coated rear corners for the yj and recieved polished aluminum corners. I am now in the process of getting this corrected.

These were the only items I have ever ordered from Quadratec and 2 out of 3 items have been messed up. I understand a mistake now and again but so far the majority of my experience with them has not been good. Granted, they are fixing the troubles for me but so far they haven't been very accurate in the product picking department and it has me not wanting to deal with them when this is all finished. If I do deal with them again I think I will drive down there and shop directly if they have a showroom of any sort. I only live about an hour and a half away from their headquarters.

Hmm, am I being too critical? Probably. But I do expect to get what I order when I order it.

Maybe if they sent the girls in this picture in place of the items I'm waiting for, I'd feel a bit better. :)

No problems so far with about 5 orders.  I returned one item and got a full refund with no questions asked.

I agree!  I never liked Bree.  The girls on there now have been in the catalog before.  They're employee's I think.  The one of the right has been in the catalog for a long time.

Well, you've all swayed my my opinion. I'll try them one more time. If I have a problem the next time then I'll move on to  another company. On the plus side... I like dealing with them because they are relatively close to where I live. My shipments are usually here within a day or two.
