I have a 1991 YJ. I was looking at this TJ and I really like the corner panel with the slider bar. I asked the owner where he got it and he said ToysByTroy. I checked it out, but sadly they only fit TJ jeeps. Where can I get a modified version for a YJ? Thanks! :bandit:

You can find full length corners from Poison Spyder (https://www.spydercustoms.com/index2.php?use_page=/bytes/index.php4). If I remember right some things from Troy have questionable design origins.

I must be stupid or something, but I can't seem to find them on PSC with the bar. :'(

They don't have the bar. Although, honestly, there should be no reason for the bar. The corner guard is very thick and should hold up well. They also have metal flares that you can add. You could probably have someone add the bars if you really wanted them.
Here's another set of smooth corner guards: http://www.genright.com/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=CNR-4003

Here's some with the bar, he does good work. Personally I like the bars as long as they run all the way to the flares, helps keep you from ripping the flares off on a friendly tree.

He's looking for corner guards which don't usually have 'nerf bars'.

Missed that. Those would be really easy to bend, can't say as I've seen anything like that on the trail before though.

My plan is to get T&T 4.5" tube fenders up front (damn PA laws... :'() and a rear corner panel with that bar. Do you think if I asked a garage locally (or a fabricator) that they could add a bar onto the panels for me fairly cheap? What if I just bought the TJ one? Will that work if I swap the rear flares?
-
that bar would be simple to fabricate with a tube bender and some DOM... and time... just buy or build your corners and then make, or have made, that bar..... it'll save you a ton of money and get the job done just the same.

Have you looked at the PSC corners with the flare?

^ thats what i was going to say since he is already going to get tube fenders up front. I think rear tube fenders/corner guards would be better (and look better) then those little nerf bar things on the corner guards.

These are for a TJ, but look like exactly what you posted.
