Title: exhaust manifold gasket

I am replacing my whole exhaust system, except for the manifold. I purchased a gasket that Jeep dealer said goes at the flange of the manifold. I don't see this gasket shown in the service manual. It shows one for the 4.0  :puzzled:
I have the 1998 2.5L
So does it need to be installed in there?

From what I remember there is one at the down pipe that goes into the tail pipe right out from the header. Like a compression fitting.
