Just got my new motor, lift and 33 installed this week and drove it home tonight for the first time with them.
I had a car pull out in front of me when I was doing 60 and then he decided to turn off about 1/8 mile later.
Any way when I hit the brakes the jeep was all over my lane. I have only put on around 100 miles since I bought it I can't say for sure if it would have done that when it was stock but I don't think it would have. I need to get it fix. I relay wasn't braking that hard and I would hate to see what would happen if I had brake harder.

steering stabilizer still good??? maybe time for an upgrade

I'm thinking I have a sticky brake cylinder. the other day with the lift in and stock tires I braked on a dirt road and it put me to left really bad. I also noticed before that the jeep was was pulling to the right while driving straight. when I got home I smelt something hot and it was my front right brake. the brake was sticking and I could barley rotate the tire when jacked up. so I pound on the caliper with a rubber mallet and it seem to free up. when I got to work yesterday I took of the caliper and cleaned it with a wire brush.
But since it still pulls left I think I might need to replace the caliper. also since the lift I haven't had it aliened yet (still go down the road straight) nor did I do any drop brackets with the 2 1/4 lift and with 163000 on the stock stabilizer it could be a bit of all of the above.

Well, it's time to replace those calipers then. Might a well do both. Reman. calipers are cheap. Usually under $20 each.

Check your rotor, it may have warped if it was over heated too much!!

Yep, it was the caliper replaced both and turned rotors. stops straight now.
