Okay this is not cool at all but I have to say it. So while my jeep was at the autobody shop they gave me this 06 chevy malibu max as a loaner car with all the bells and whistles, xm radio, heated seats, v6, (good gas mileage), dvd player in the back, you name it. Well i got my jeep back today and I hate to say it but i miss the loaner car its like a developped a stockholm syndrome and fell in love with my hostage taker, I forgot how nice a smooth quiet ride was, or having the power to pass cars at will and drive 80 mph without feeling like i could run off the road at any second, i liked being able to understand what the newsman on the radio was saying in the morning. I dunno, it felt real good sitting up high in the freedom machine again but i just have to say the chevy malibu max is a nice car although it makes me feel like a metrosexual being seen in it.

Trader! :whistle: J/K... I know how you feel. I get the same way when I drive my father-in-laws blazer. It's a p.o.s. but it's a nice, smooth, quiet ride. My Caddy was the same way but I sold that. :brick: Anyway, no matter what it always feels good to get back in the Jeep. I hope you took that Malibu down some trails. What good is a loaner/rental if you don't beat on it a bit.

I know exactly how you feel I have a car for work and it is nice to drive around, but it also makes the Jeep extra special when I drive it. 8)

Haha. I don't know how you feel. My loaner car is a 94 ford exploder. Simply put it is underpowered and slower than my jeep. It is just about as loud at 70 mph too. I miss my jeep.

Haa, I have the opposite problem you do. I drive around my 1988, samurai because it gets over 30mpg but the thing is makes my tj seem like a mercedes. I have no power steering, get blown around at will, rusty holes everywhere, and I swear I could punch a hole in the sheet metal because it's so thin. The soft top on the sammy is about three times as loud as a tj.
