Title: Strange Leak...

I just rebuilt my engine and everything went well. I have had no problems.  But two days after it was all buttoned up I noticed a coolent leak under the car. The strange part of this is that the coolent is not comming from the water pump or front end.  It appears to be dripping down the starter and the inspection plate. I checked the head and found on coolent there (plus it runs fine). Any ideas? If I was stupid I would say the leak is comming from the rear of the oil pan gasket. (knowing there is nothing coolent related there I dismissed it. 

Please help, even random ideas would be helpful.

The Heater core is on that side of the engine so coolant could be coming from that or the heater hoses.  Also maybe the freeze plug on the back of the engine.  I have heard of these rusting out, since yours is a rebuild maybe its not seated correctly.

I had to replace some freeze plugs on mine and it is all good now..good luck
