Title: 4.0 throttle body on a 2.5 throttle body spacer?

I have a 2.5l throttle body spacer on my jeep right now and wanted to upgrade to the 4.0 throttle body. My question is would i have to buy a 4.0 Throttle body spacer or would the 2.5 one work? Thanks in advance. ;)

If thats the case i might try and spring for one of those instead when i do the swap otherwise if it will work that will be perfect and save me some cash in the process.

Post by: Jeffy on July 21, 2007, 11:41:48 AM: I'd jsut buy the 4.0L one if you're planning on doing the 4.0L TB. Honing from 42mm to 55mm would be a pain. Not to mention the $35 spacers on ebay are usually once size fits all.

Edges & lips Kill cfm flow and The whole point of add HP increaseing Mods is to Make it the BEST YOU CAN.
A sanding drum on a die grinder and Some music,a few cold ones :beer:, make for a good weekend night out in the shop.

The spacers that are one size fits all are 55mm bore (ie. 4.0L)...
