X2...for me that is... :blbl:
443RRV1.0 for my pre-build (didn't include the new axles or tires or protection since they aren't on yet. Will do another one later)
EDIT: Post build-up (including new engine) ----- 969RRV1.0....I'm so bad-ass it's scary.... :blbl:

my daily yj 378RRv1.0 with boa of 18.92
my dj 839RRv1.0 with a boa of 30.57
-
For the '95 YJ:
330RRv1.0
Your Break-Over Angle (BOA) is 12.51 degrees!
Needs work!
For the '43 GPW:
295RRv1.0
Your Break-Over Angle (BOA) is 16.26 degrees!
This does not seem to be the BOA that is usually reported. Usually you see values about double these for stock short wheel base jeeps.
-
Mozman68 Where is your BOA?
-
For you guys with the 30º+ BOA, what is your wheelbase/tire/lift setup? What about the belly skid or any clocking?
-
Mozman68 Where is your BOA?
Woops...I didn't copy the fancy info they provided...just typed in the number myself. Let me check again for both setups.
OK...my boa AFTER my suspension mods are done in a few months will be 26.64.
The belly up skid will help...extending my wheelbase a few inches won't...but I don't have too many breakover issues when trail riding in MI.
-
IN MI, come on. I hear the Dirt clods are that Big .

How high up is your tcase skid?
-
My RigRater Score: 705RRv1.0 with a BOA of 21.49 --
-
I don't see how a there are so many high break over angles, I have a 4" lift, 33's and a custom t-case skid that is only 7/8th of an inch below the frame (Dirty Fab Works) and I only have a 22.01 BOA.

All the high BOA's look to be form those running 35's and up. Then you add in a belly-up's and you get numbers into the high 20's mod-30's.
-
I probably screwed up my BOA...will have to measure when I get home from Chicago.
-
My RigRater Score:
432RRv1.0
Your Break-Over Angle (BOA) is 24.55 degrees!
-
My RigRater (http://"http://www.rigrater.com") Score: 794RRv1.0 with a BOA of 27.17
i think that's a bit strange considering if i had stock wheelsbase i would have a score of 29.61.... not to mention the addition of full width axles don't have any effect on score when clearly they offer a huge advantage both on and off road.
none the less, it's fun to see the numbers i suppose.
-Erik <--- classifies this just slightly more useless than an rti ramp :)
-
It makes sense, the longer the wheelbase, the lower the BOA. The old flatfender CJ's can end up with very high BOAs due to the short 80 inch wheelbase.
-
so basically an unstable flattie having the wheelbase of a 4 wheeler with 44" tires would have a better rig rater score than a properly setup competition buggy?
makes sense.... i think i'll stick to my original thinking that building a rig to perform off road is a better idea than building a rig to compete in international web wheeling competitions, hehe
-Erik <--- can't wait to lower his RR score a couple points in order to get a wheelbase that's ideal offroad and horrible while web wheeling :asshat:

Bwahahaha
That's the best comment I've read on here yet. I'm still laughing right now. Good thing my Jeep still has the stock wheelbase so that I can wheel better than you on the internet. The thing about that rig rater that also pisses me off is that it doesn't even take into account coils over leaf springs, etc.

:roflol: :roflol: :roflol: thats great.

So has anybody ever punched in a stock YJ vers A stock TJ? Could be some fun WEB Wheeling
-
I punched in my 2" bl'ed Dakota sitting on 31" LTB's and got a better score then some posted even though I had a breakover angle of 10° or something like that, I ran it the other day and don't remember now, and don't care enough to run it again so it must take other stuff into consideration.

My RigRater (http://"http://www.rigrater.com") Score: 382RRv1.0 with a BOA of 17.64
-
Anyone know what the stock height is on a TJ's transfer case skid plate? It's dark and raining and I don't feel like getting wet while trying to measure the thing. :'(
-
Ok, I went out and measured it and now I'm wet.
My RigRater (http://"http://www.rigrater.com") Score: 337RRv1.0 with a BOA of 14.69
(http://www.gothetahs.com/forum/images/smilies/2down.gif)
My measurement for my belly height was taken on an uneven driveway. Maybe I'll do better if I park it in my garage and take the measurement from the concrete floor.
I'm sure my score will increase once I get the Rubi shocks and springs installed.
-
OK, I'll play yer stoopid 'lil game...
504RRv1.0
