Title: 87 2.5 upgrades?

i have the 87 2.5. i would like to upgrade it some how and all the mags say 91 and up?  i already did and electric fan but thats about it. oh and a ghetto k&n. i would like to replace that too. thanks for time.

Well, you could always go with a MPFI conversion.  That will give you an honest 10-12hp gain and allow you to do most other mods.

Is there a "pre-made" conversion kit or are we talking about finding a donor vehicle and ripping the fuel and intake off that.  I ask because I have a 90 yj and am always looking for some way to improve the performance.

You've got to salvage everything from a donor.  If you have a high mileage engine it might be worth it to jsut swap the whole engine, otherwise, you do what's needed.
