Why do neither of those numbers equal the $650 you list in your subject?? :puzzled:

I don't know, for that price I think I'd rather have a OEM top and find some mismatching doors. That's what I did. I had a aftermarket top with the fiberglass uppers and the quality was OK at first buy with a whole lot of sun and rain, it started to leak and the seals started failing. I ended up selling it for about half of what I paid for it a several years later. I don't know who makes Bestops hardtops. They licensed the design from the now defunct Steel Horse. Although Steel Horse was only the marketing end of the business. I think the tops were made by Guidion or something like that.
Later I ended up buying a pretty clean top off a friend of mine for $800 (Original owner). I had to drive 500 miles but still it was an OEM top with doors. I'd highly recommend an OEM top over any aftermarket top.

I just found a deal for a CJ top with new hinges and hardware for 150.00. I'll have to throw the spare in the garage for a while until I get around to building my carrier, but what the hell for that price.

I have not found an OEM top that was in good enough condition to justify what people are asking for them. I already bought one which should be in next week so I will report back on it and maybe post some pictures so you can see what it looks like.
