Title: 87 2.5 throttle body help

Can anything be done to help air flow with pre-1990 throttle bodies on the 2.5?  I understand 4.0 throttle bodies won't fit, and no one makes spacers for those years.  Should I just go with an air-aid type tube and cone filter and call it good?

i believe yjmechanic was making a spacer for a tbi.. but then he bought a mpi jeep. so that died. and i was going to make one at one time but i don't have the time.
