I mentioned in another post I think I am the oddball here, 'cuz I ain't driving a 4x4 and don't go 4wheeling. :confused:Did go running around on Dunebuggy's, mostly hopped up vw bugs, on the sand dunes when I was growing up on the coast of Oregon. Anywho, in my oddball-ness of having a street jeep, I am looking for plain steel wheels, you know, the kind they used to put on cars in the 1960's, but are reversed. I want to put them on my 4x2 Comanche. Don't want them chromed 'cuz I want to paint them and have baby moons and trim rings. Guess the fact that I did my early hotrodding in the 1960's is showing up. Anyway, any sources??? :puzzled:

US Wheels series 51 is what I think you are looking for.
You can get them bare, powder coated or chrome

I'v looked at the various smoothies, but am reluctant to use something without air holes for the purpose of brake cooling. I don't know if not having those air holes would be a problem. I have been hoping to find someplace that made reversed regular old steel wheels with those air holes. I would like to go to 16 inch at the same time, but if not, I can send my wheels off to Weldcraft and they will reverse and widen or narrow my stock wheels or go to a junk yard and get some old wheels and send them to Weldcraft. Might get pricey though!
