Anyone running the OME HD lift on a 4 banger?  How much lift did you actually gain?  TIA.

That is a nice low center of gravity setup.  I have a YJ but have often thought about building a TJ just like that (2.5 lift, belly up kit, and 33s).  I don't think a 2.5 lift is enough for a YJ because the front shackles will make the approach angle too low but a TJ can get away with it, especially with a high clearance gas tank skid plate to improve the departure angle a bit.
With the belly up kit, do you find you can keep up with 4 inch lifted YJs with 33 inch tires just fine?

Wow, that's like my dream TJ!

So do you find you can keep up with 4 inch lifted, 33 inch tire YJs just fine?  That would be my goal for the build.

Sounds like you haven't actually tried it but I think you could because the angles and ground clearance would be very similar.  The suspension would give you an added advantage as well.
