Anyone have any opinions about these tires? I'm looking at the 31 x 11.5 x 15 growlers (coming soon i believe, may already be out). My jeep is a daily driver, so i'm wondering if these tires would give me adequate road wear, or are they too soft to be used as a daily driver. Here is the link: http://www.pitbulltires.com/growler.php
If I don't get these I think I'll go with the Firestone Destination M/Ts

they look good

They look pretty decent. I don't know of anyone running them. You may want to Google them and see if you can find any opinions.

Here is a good link for you:

I've only seen one set of pitbulls in action and they had the loosest beads I've ever seen. Guy drove one all the way off his rim and then was able to remount it with his bare hands. No idea if this is a common problem or not. Might want to take a look at the Mickey Thompson MTZ too.

Pitbull doesn't make radials do they? The bias is going to be pretty crappy on road.

Since all they're touting is offroad, I suspect that the tires might be lacking onroad.

thanks for that link neale. I read a lot more and they seem to be mostly of an offroad tire like you guys said... especially since they are bias ply. I just stumbled upon them, and was wondering what you all knew about them... That bead business doesn't seem to be a big positive either.
The growlers kinda remind me of off road go kart wheels now that i think about it.
