Title: SuperCharger Problem...Need Help Fix...:(
Post by: RoKnAzn on February 03, 2008, 02:13:25 AM
Well, I been having problems with my SC...I have dump almost 3/4 of Premium fuel these past 2 days...:( Plus, I'm Throwing 2 codes P0108 and P0172. Well, I not sure what should I get for Tuning it...Since Avenger Said I dont need one...but I think they lied...I was wondering how about the Optimizer II from Kenne Bell (Not sure they will do one for a 2.5L) or Split Second FCT-1 with ESC ($569 Plus getting it tuned). IDK what to do...:( Any Guidance?

Going by codes alone, sounds like you are running very lean.  Have you done any mods to get more fuel to the engine?  If you run a '91-'95 I would consider an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, upgraded injectors, and an adjustable MAP Sensor.  Have you check your air/fuel ratio?

The 2 codes together indicate a problem with the MAP Sensor

Did you do steps 36-40 on the instructions?

If you did those, then have you tested the MAP to see if it's working correctly - and put a vac guage on the intake port to see what it is reading?

Yes, I did those... but the Map Sensor cant read boost...So I put the Map Sensor in the stock location to not throw the P0108 code....:(
