Hi, new here I have a 97 TJ and I am looking to replace my Cat does anyone know if the Magnaflow cat for the 87-95 YJ will fit a TJ . It's $30 cheaper and wondering if the pipe size is the only difference? Thanks!

Well, the first problem is, you need to make sure the new cat is EPA OBDII Compliant. Which means you can't use a OBDI cat on an OBDII equipped vehicle. Although I'm not sure if anyone would notice, and I'm not sure if there are really any differences other then certification.
In any case, this is the one you want. http://www.car-sound.com/02product/displayuniversal01.asp?catalogid=15359&universal=91005 It's considered a universal. There is a direct fit but it's twice as much but includes a new down pipe.
