I have heard of it back a year ago... BUT I did not know that is was being sold as a kit...

I wonder what it would do your our 4 banger's???

That's just water-injection.  That's OLD technology.  If I remember it right, the water does two things, it helps clean carbon off the cylinders and also adds volume which would help to boost compression a bit.  Looks like their are ionizing the water in the jar.

Water injection was used back in WWII airplanes to give some additional boost for short periods.  As Jeffy said, it increases compression, and in the case of WWII airplanes (where compression was already high), they could only use it for short bursts.

That's not a water injection device, it's called a hydrogen generator.  Mythbusters did some experimenting with one on their free energy episode.  It sort of works, in that it will produce small amounts of hydrogen has but no where near what is required to run a car.
