Title: Whats up with my side markers?
Post by: 95yjman on April 15, 2008, 09:36:56 AM
When ever I turn on my head lights the side markers don't come on, but when I use my turn signals they flash like they are supposed to. So I know the bulbs aren't out. Do I have a short or loose wire somewhere? :puzzled:

I'd first check the harness plug under the steering column.  It sometimes needs to be reseated.

try changing your bulbs out. start out replacing the inexpensive stuff first.

heh is the plug right under the steering column? I've got one that is unpluged and just dangling but I can't figure out where it plugs into...

It's a long plug that runs parallel to the shaft.

I had the same problem about a week ago... I had a couple wires in the engine bay that had shorted out... Look real hard and close at every wire b/c it took me 3days just to find them
