I see that Autozone carries all Duralast parts for cap and rotor, plug wires, and coil. I plan to use the Bosch Iridium Fusion plugs. Does anyone have this set up with the Duralast, maybe with different plug? I would be fine with it unless you have bad experiences.
My Jeep is at 66k miles. would it be better to change the coil too or can I wait?

You don't need to change the coil. They typically last for around 200K, and usually they fail all at once. They really don't slowly go bad.

Duralast is their house brand and I have put their wires on several vehicles with no problem. Its most likely the same thing a shop is going to put on for you (except the dealer). They do have some thicker ones (high performance?) that are suppose to help. I wouldn't change the wires unless you have a problem or want to improve the current ones.

That is what I was thinking, but I wondered if anyone has had trouble with them.

I've tried several different plugs in Jeeps and find that the copper core Champions work best. The Duralast tune up distributor cap, rotor, and plugs are good; no need to go fancy. I have a hi-performance coil and really can't say that there's a lot of difference. Stay with the stocker is my opinion. Have fun!

Just keep in mind that the larger wires do nothing for you unless you run a hotter coil. Just keep with a standard size high quality set.
