Title: 1995 YJ VSS Question...
Post by: Clem on June 25, 2008, 12:47:08 PM
I am getting my output rounded up for my Dana 20 swap. What are the three wires the go into the stock VSS on a 1995 YJ? I am looking for a clean install, if I can rather than using this:

Scroll down to the bottom. Ideas?

I don't think they're vague enough.

Three wires;, power ground and signal.  A friend of mine uses a Dakota Digital VSS to convert the signal to work with the stock gauge.

How many pulses? That will be the key... I am thinking 8 for some dumb reason.

Vague is the under statement of the year. It is just enough to say "Nah, nah, nah we think we figured it out!"

Thanks Jeffy.

I think it's 8 as well.

Thanks. Dakota was the only intelligent ones out there that had an idea as to what was going on. I have a cleaner way to do this (I think).
