Title: 89 wranger 2.5 - Can you pull engine codes?
Post by: tawd77 on August 06, 2008, 01:19:39 PM
89 wrangler 2.5l TBI injection. There is no "check engine" light, So is there any way to check to see if there has been any codes stored? Or do I just have to test every sensor on the engine? Thanks for the help

there are some diagnostic plugs under the hood by the battery... if you can find a reader for it.

You need to find a shop with a scanner and the type of plug adapters to fit the Chrysler plugs on the fender.  Any good shop should have the Chrysler plug adapter.

My '88 Comanche is Renix and had the two rectangular Chrysler plugs.  As did my '88 4.2L YJ.

Then pray tell what are they?
