Title: Can I fit 33"s?

This is with 28" tires and a OME HD lift.  I got right at 3" from the lift.

I was running 33x15x12.5 on an add-a-leaf and a 2" BL.

That would look really tight and not in a good way.   You'll probably have to extend the bumpstops or else not really go offroad.

That should give me 4.5" between the top of the 33" tire and the fender.  How much clearance do you need?  I mainly go offroading in mud, but play in the rocks sometimes.

Don't get me wrong, it was tight but it gave me a good excuse not to carry any big girls :beers: All I used to do with my heap was mud and I never had any problems

On my '95 YJ it has about 8 inches from the tire to the metal part of the fender.  Sometimes the tire does rub the metal part of the fender.  You can always extend your bumpstops to prevent rubbing but you will lose suspension travel.

I really don't need the exotic wheel travel the tj is capable of.  I have rubicon axles with lockers in both ends and don't mind lifting a tire if I have too.  I think 4.5 to 4.75 tire to fender clearance will satisfy me if I just increase the bumpstops unless someone says there is a problem that I'm unaware of.

People seem to forget the convenience of 33x10.5 tires.  With slightly wider flares, they tuck up nicely.
